What data we collect
- When you run a check: the website address you entered and your IP address. The IP is used exclusively to limit the number of checks per hour.
- When you request a quote: your name, email address, and, if you fill them in, your phone number, company, website address, and message.
- Technical data: standard server logs, generated automatically when accessing any website.
We do not require a user account to run a check, and we do not collect payment data on this site.
Why we use it
Data submitted through the form is used exclusively to respond to your request and for internal record-keeping of inquiries. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a commercial request that you initiated.
Your IP address is processed to ensure the proper functioning of the service, specifically to prevent overload.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept for as long as necessary for the business relationship, and for a maximum of three years from the last contact. Check reports and associated IP addresses are kept for the operation and troubleshooting of the service.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. It is stored on our own server, on which the website runs. Our hosting provider may have technical access, acting as a data processor.
Check reports are accessible to anyone who has the unique report address.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your data, under GDPR. You can write to us at contact@webmcp.ro, and we will respond within the legal deadline.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal).
